These terms govern your use of Sonco Pay, a payment gateway that lets businesses accept crypto payments and withdraw their balance. By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms.
1. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract. The information you give us must be accurate and kept up to date.
You are responsible for everything done with your account, your API keys and your team members. Keep your password and keys secret and tell us at once if you think they have been exposed.
2. The service
Sonco Pay provides payment pages, a payment API, Binance Pay payments, crypto deposits, mobile money payments where available, merchant balances, payouts and webhooks. Payments are carried out through third party providers and blockchain networks that we do not control.
Test mode lets you try the service with simulated payments. Nothing in test mode moves real money.
3. Fees
You pay the fee shown on our pricing page, currently 1% of each successful payment, unless we agree otherwise in writing. Payouts are charged the network fee shown in your dashboard. We will tell you in advance before any change to our fees.
4. Crypto assets and payments
Crypto asset prices can change quickly. Sonco Pay does not give investment, tax or legal advice.
Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed. You must check every address, network and amount before you send or withdraw funds. Funds sent to a wrong address or network may be lost for good.
5. Funds and payouts
Payments are received on accounts held by Sonco Pay at third party providers and credited to your balance after confirmation, minus our fee. We hold these funds on your behalf until you withdraw them.
Payouts, automatic settlements included, have a minimum and a fee set for each network, shown in your dashboard and on our documentation page. An automatic settlement is sent only once the total due on a network reaches this minimum; below it, the amounts stay in your balance. A new payout address can only be used after a security waiting period.
Large payouts may be reviewed before they are sent. We may delay or refuse a payout to comply with the law or to protect you, your customers or the service.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use Sonco Pay for anything illegal, including fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, or the sale of illegal goods or services.
You must comply with the laws that apply to your business, including tax, consumer protection and anti money laundering rules. We may ask you for information about your business or your customers to meet our own obligations.
7. Your customers
You are responsible for your relationship with your customers, including the goods and services you sell, refunds, disputes and the information you give them.
If you ask your customers for their name, email address, phone number or country on the payment page, we collect it on your behalf, pass it to you with the payment, use it to send the payment receipt and erase it after 365 days at most. You must have a lawful reason to ask for it and inform your customers.
8. Suspension and closure
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts the service at risk, or when the law requires it. Where possible, we will tell you why and let you withdraw the funds you are entitled to.
9. Availability
We work to keep the service available and secure, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or improve features over time.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Sonco Pay is not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, or losses caused by payment providers, blockchain networks, wrong addresses or events beyond our reasonable control. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us during the three months before the event that caused the claim.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is important, we will tell you before it takes effect. If you keep using the service after that date, you accept the new terms.
